Resources
Ambience
TSM is gifted with a lush green surrounding
consisting of 6000 trees and plants in 17 acres of land. With 30,000 square
feet of lush green lawns, it has 50,000 square feet of infrastructure for
academic activities.
Auditorium
TSM has two air conditioned seminar halls and an
auditorium specifically for conducting seminars and corporate interactions
in person and through video conferencing as well which has occupancy of 200
students. It also has an examination hall where 300 students can write exam
comfortably.
Computer
Centres and Laboratories
The IT setup at TSM comprises of a multi layered
architecture, the lowest layer of which is made up of personal computers and
workstations. The next layer consists of File servers and Database servers.
The third layer consists of Web server, Email server and other high-end
servers/computers required high resources demanding tasks.
There are more than 300 High End personal computers connected over the
campus LAN under the latest Network Operating Systems running on the IBM X
Series servers. A very high capacity Network Storage facility integrated
with an automated data backup and recovery system caters to the data storage
requirement of all the users.
As critical infrastructure, TSM has deployed a high speed and highly
reliable internet facility at its campus. A total of 4 Mbps Internet
bandwidth is available for the users for round the clock Internet access.
The Computer Centre, functioning 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, provide the
students with a comprehensive collection of management related software and
business specific database. The Computer Technology Centre provides e-mail
services to the entire TSM community.
Sports and
Fitness Centre
TSM has ample facilities for sports and
indoor/outdoor games. Outdoor games facilities are available in each hostel
separately. We have an indoor hall for Table Tennis and carom and we have a
Cricket Field, Basket ball Court and Shuttle Badminton Court. The fitness
centre of TSM has latest fitness equipment and change rooms for ladies and
gents with locker facility. TSM maintains separate timings for ladies and
gents.
Hostels
TSM aims at training professionals of high
standard with moral caliber. The rules and regulations are framed so
as to train them for reaching the goals for which the institution was
started. It aims at ensuring harmonious, friendly living among students
of various states inculcating self discipline. The hostels should serve
as a training ground for a responsible, successful and useful life through
development of the body, mind and soul. Gents hostel have Solar panel and in
Ladies hostel Electric heaters are fixed for hot water. Common halls have TV
with Tata sky digi box.
Meditation
Hall
The Meditation Hall at TSM is a perfect place to
enjoy the luxury of silence, awareness and meditation. It is the ideal place
for students to practice Yoga and perform Poojas.
Classrooms
The classrooms are well equipped
with modern imported chairs for comfortable seating with uninterrupted power
supply through UPS Genset.Each class room is provided with a LCD projector
display and audio.
Library
Library is the soul of any institution. It is a
center of acquiring, processing, preserving and disseminating information to
the user community with the motto of empowering knowledge. TSM library has
well trained staff to enrich the user community with a wide range of
academic resources such as books, periodicals, online periodicals,
databases, back volumes, CDs/DVDs, project reports, audio / video cassettes,
and question bank.
The library has an impressive collection of around 20535 books that cover
all contemporary management literature. It has annual subscriptions to 165
national and international journals/magazines. It maintains multiple copies
of standard and prescribed textbooks for the MBA /MCA
Mr. S.Sridhar is with TSM since 2001. He is M.A., M.LISc, PGDCA,
M.Phil and currently pursuing his doctoral course. His area of research is “Total
Quality Management in Business School Libraries”. He has 15 years of
experience in the area of Library Information Science especially in academic
and special library systems and has been guiding M.Phil Scholars in the same
area.
